Reduced service during the second half of August 2025
Published on July 31, 2025 by Ivan Cukeric
Dear OCE community,
We will take days off throughout the second half of August to spend time with our families and friends.
While we will work to ensure continuity throughout the month, please note that the payment delay will probably be longer than the usual seven days.

Please submit your expense requests by 7 August 2025 EoB to ensure they are processed in time.
We may also take longer than usual to reply to your messages during this period.
If you have a query, feel free to check out our documentation, or join our Discord community while we work through our support tickets.

We'll be back up to full speed on 8 September, taking care of any outstanding issues then.
All the best,
The OCE Team

Be more transparent in your communication, because in the end, it comes down to you being back in action the second week of September, so reimbursements take weeks instead of days.
You really should examine the possibility of automating reimbursements of recurring expenses, because doing it all manually takes unnecessary time.
Don't get me wrong, I do think you are entitled to holidays, but waiting this long for a RECURRING reimbursement is not from this time. I mean, we all live in Europe, so I don't have to remind you that the costs of living throughout the continent are as high as a skyscraper and having to wait this long for a reimbursement doesn't work in your favour.

Hi Bryan,
Thank you for your feedback, it is indeed something we had considered.
However, for fiscal reasons, it is impossible for us to process the payments automatically.
Being aware of that, we organised our schedule to maintain the regular, if somewhat slower, payouts to the community, and no approved expense that met the requirements had to wait beyond the usual seven working days to be paid out (including yours).
Best wishes,
Ivan
