Axios is a promise-based HTTP client for the browser and node.js. The axios project is currently used 4 millionth repositories, has 83 thousand stars on GitHub and sees roughly 18 million downloads via NPM weekly.

Axios is a great choice for many project scenarios and provides the user with ease of use as well as stability. Axios has had a couple of rough patches in the past where issues have piled up and many thought the project was dead. However, a small group of core developers are still working on the repo and we have large plans to modernise the Axios project in many ways.
